On this World Environment Day the students of Mallikarjun School Bhimtal along with the Shiksha Vasundhara Foundation, enthusiastically worked at the task of cleaning up the roads, Bhimtal lake, and Upadhyay Park. Armed with gloves and garbage bags, these young students went about picking up garbage from the road, the footpath and the plantation area.

Our school philosophy already promotes the sense of civic responsibility amongst our students, and this campaign lends strength to our existing resolve of maintaining a clean environment.
